About
From the Kennebecasis Valley of New Brunswick, Zack Ingles’ unique brand of foot-stompin, banjo driven, folk twang has struck a chord with fans and critics across the maritimes. With sonic influences reminiscent of Neil Young, Mumford & Sons, and Noah Kahan, – Ingles’ catchy pop melodies and relatable storytelling make an unforgettable and timeless connection with every listener.
2024 included notable appearances at: Area 506, Living Roots Festival, Rising Tides Festival, Sussex SummerFest, winning the Scene’s Big Battle of the Bands 2024, and a summer solo tour across Nova Scotia.
An advocate for mental health issues in his writing, Ingles weaves themes from his own struggles throughout his catalog; brought to the forefront in songs like: “A Little More” and “Trophy.” Zack’s ability to explore complex and often taboo social conversations by packaging them within heart-pumping 4-on-the-floor bluegrass rhythms opens the door for dialogue and personal reflection. He is known to hang around after shows to connect with fans who share similar experiences.
Ingles’ sophomore EP “Get Ahead” was released in June 2024 and has received accolades from across Canada; including regular national airplay on CBC Radio 1 and 3; with the single, “Weathered Heart” earning more than 35,000 streams in it’s first 6 months. A live full band music video for the hit song is scheduled for release at the end of 2024.
