About
Raised in the Okanagan Valley of BC and now residing in the Kennebecasis Valley of New Brunswick, Zack Ingles’ unique brand of foot-stompin, banjo driven, folk twang has struck a chord with fans and critics across the maritimes. With sonic influences reminiscent of Neil Young, Mumford & Sons, and Noah Kahan, – Ingles’ catchy pop melodies and relatable storytelling make an unforgettable and timeless connection with every listener.
An advocate for mental health issues in his writing, Ingles own journey of dealing with PTSD is woven throughout his catalog and brought to the forefront in songs like: “A Little More” and “Trophy.” Zack’s ability to explore complex and often taboo social conversations by packaging them within heart-pumping 4-on-the-floor bluegrass rhythms opens the door for dialogue and personal reflection. He is well-known for hanging around after shows and connecting with those who share similar experiences to his own.
Ingles’ sophomore EP “Get Ahead” was released in June 2024 and has received accolades from across Canada; including regular national airplay on CBC Radio 1 and 3; with the single, “Weathered Heart” earning more than 35,000 streams in it’s first 6 months.
